2015 Human Walking Program

When was the last time you got out of your office to get some fresh air and sunshine during your lunch break? You are not alone! Studies from beyondblue found that approximately 3.8 million Australians don’t routinely break for lunch and an increasing sedentary lifestyle isn’t good for our physical or mental health.

In a bid to encourage healthy living with a companion animal The Lost Dogs’ Home brought back its Human Walking Program to the city workers of Melbourne.  The program promotes active living with a companion animal and one of the best ways to do this is by exercising with your dog.

To celebrate this year’s Human Walking Program this edition of Pets-A-Loud is a celebration of all the ways you can get out and be active with your own dog. So tune in for more!
