Rainbow Report Host Doug Pollard returns from his break with another informative program, tonight’s studio guests include Cathy Anderson, Rob Mitchell and Corey Irlam and Kaye Sera looks underneath her bonnet.
First up in this podcast we talk to the AFL Corporate Affairs Manager Brian Walsh regarding the recent decision that the AFL’s anti-discrimination policy. The wording of the vilification rules now extends to prohibit vilification of sexual orientation.
Next we talk to the Victorian Education Minister Bronwyn Pike who is tackling the issue when teachers who ignore homophobic abuse or bulling in Victorian Schools.
Michael Vanghan convenor of Rainbow Labor NSW discuss the issuing of a statement about civil unions as a stepping stone to gay marriage, but is it a road block?. However John Klopprogge has a different option on the same issue and even the panel get into loggerheads over the issue.
Kaye Sera looks underneath her bonnet on how gen y and the baby boomers see issues.
