A proud Gunai Kurnai man, Rick is CEO, head coach and mentor at the Koorie Basketball Academy – a community basketball team supporting young people in having the opportunity to play sport in a culturally safe and fun environment. 
 
We also hear from Nicholas, a descendent of the Mulunjali clan of the Yugambah language group with a connection to the eastern clans of Kuku Yalanji country. Nicholas is also involved with Koorie Basketball Academy as a coach and helps participants enjoy a healthy and culturally rich lifestyle.
