Danby announces support for equal marriage exclusively on JOY 94.9

The Federal Member for Melbourne Ports, Michael Danby has revealed exclusively to JOY 94.9 that he’s now willing to vote for same-sex marriage.

The Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts, had previously been recorded as OPPOSED to Equal Marriage.

Danby revealed his change of stance in an interview with JOY 94.9’s President David McCarthy on Saturday Magazine this morning.

The announcement comes less than a week after former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd stated his own change of mind with respect to equal marriage, and a day after the Coalition’s youngest MP, Wyatt Roy, stated the same.
