Legal challenge to school chaplains

BibleJuliette Armstrong is a school chaplain. She’s expertly qualified for the role of providing pastoral care to children, holding both a bachelor’s degree in Education, and a postgraduate diploma in counselling, but she struggled to find work because she’s not religious.

She is about to become a plaintiff in a case that will test the legality of the federal government’s Schools Chaplaincy program. She’s joined by Luke Beck @DrLukeBeck, Monash Associate Professor, and constitutional law expert.

Is the funding stacked in favour of religious organisations, and is it in breach of the constitution?
