The fallout from the Victorian election continues. Dr Paul Strangio, Associate professor at Monash University @MonashUni, is a political historian who specialises in Australian political history. Victorian electorate clearly said we don’t like this brand of Liberalism. Victoria is a complex state. That abrasive law & order message with race undertones was alienation. Lack of capacity to see that the world is a kaleidoscope. The “Base” stuck with the party is only 35% & this is not enough to keep the party afloat.
