Andy Butler @AndyRay87 is a Filipino-Australian writer and emerging curator based in Melbourne. He is interested in investigating how structural inequalities at a societal level reproduce themselves in the arts and cultural sector, with a particular focus on institutional Whiteness. This week he talks broadly about race in Australia in the aftermath in Christchurch. 24% of people in Australia come from a non-European background but 99% of parliament is white European.
