We almost had a studio crush on Saturday Sessions this morning when Sarah, Zac, Tim Ashley and Stacey joined us to chat about their upcoming show “People Suck: A Musical Airing Of Grievances, including a musical teaser that lifted the roof off the studio!! The energy in the studio was contagious and Sarah’s voice was amazingly uplifting and mighty powerful backed up with beautiful harmonies….. I love days like today 🙂

Winner of Best of Toronto Fringe and Patron’s Pick, this irreverent, hilarious and all-too-relatable musical comedy explores the many ways in which people are just the worst. This intimate musical is a not-so-gentle reminder to be ever vigilant and learn to be better human beings, one day at a time.

Presented by The Butterfly Club and written by Megan Phillips and Peter Cavell, this is the theatrical debut of upcoming Melbourne Company Salty Theatre, co-founded by Melbourne theatre and cabaret veteran Sarah Louise Younger and Canadian theatre and screen vet Ashley Taylor. Together, this duo has taken on the ugly, outrageous and offensive thoughts and actions that human beings find themselves exploring daily.

People Suck is guaranteed to make you laugh, cry – possibly in shame and humiliation and cringe your way through this hour of theatre and song.

The show runs from Monday 11 March to Saturday 16 March from 8.30pm at The Butterfly Club, Carson Place, Melbourne (off Lt Colllins)
