Also we have JM Cosplay AKA Jess Meads an extraordinary Cos and Crosplayer who does a wonderful Jon Snow and much more....Scarlette Baccini the creator of comics such as Zombolette and The Queer Zombie Unicorn who is our mascot on Sci-Fi and Squeam …plus as well as being a comics creative she is also a singer songwriter in the Melbourne based band : Dear Plastic!

So what is Grunch?:

‘The sensation a woman has when she was for a time free of conscious awareness of the male gaze and did not feel othered, but is then reminded in some way that she is a woman first and a geek, colleague, or writer, etc a distant second. That is, being grunched is the sensation of being firmly and unexpectedly othered.’ ( there are other meanings ..but we won’t get into that …)
