Creating building materials from Carbon, Tech in the 2013 election, crowd funding in Australia

Technology

Today Mark and Donna discussed DNS and some recent high profile outages borne from DNS vulnerabilities.  Craig joined us to have a chat with Marcus Dawe from Minerals Carbonation International, discussing their work in developing alternatives to carbon geo-sequestration and the carbon capture industry.  We also discussed crowd funding in Australia, after Kick Starter has announced a foray into the Australian and New Zealand market.  We finished up with technology in Australia’s 2013 federal election.

Check out Marcus Dawe’s TEDx talk on what to do with CO2 here.
