Pawn Again Christian, Fugitive Songs, Peter Allen, Calamity Jane, Tommy, Evita, School of Rock

Annie Lee‘s (The Kransky Sisters) one-woman comedy Pawn Again Christian, is inspired by her life of growing up in a fundamentalist religion on the coast of Tasmania – “her licence to live up to the bestowed title of “heathen and sinner.”

Dirk Hoult and Lachlan Hamill join the Cabaret Room to talk about Fugitive Songs, a 19-song journey by award-winning songwriters, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen. It’s an honest show about the human condition and features 16 characters who are at a crossroads in their lives. Sometimes it’s funny; sometimes it’s heartbreaking.

Music includes: Tenterfield Saddler (Peter Allen); Windy City (Calamity Jane); The Acid Queen (Tommy); Annie’s party (Fugitive Songs); I’d Be Surprisingly Good for You (Evita); Stick It To the Man (School of Rock)
