/ The Cabaret Room / Arts / Ross Anderson-Doherty (Cake Daddy), Cazeleon (The Movies in My Mind), and Sophie de Lightful (The Odditorium)

As we approach the final week of the Midsumma Festival, Ross Anderson-Doherty joins us to talk about Cake Daddy, the inspiration for the story, playing to Melbourne audiences and what to expect from the show.

Cazeleon joins the team in the studio to share the story of Cazeleon and how she came to be. The Movies In My Mind is a theatrical cabaret that turns the lens on gender and binary constructs as well as the exploitation of women in Hollywood.

The third guest in this episode is the delightful Sophie de Lightful. The Odditorium, is described as “a contemporary vaudeville experience” bringing together a talented troop of circus, cabaret and burlesque performers.
