The GSpot team are the first ship in the radiothon sea, blowing their fog horn as they sail the sound waves. Their plan is to torture their listeners with novelty songs until they hand over loot for new memberships, renewals or donations. In the face of ‘a shit storm of crap songs’ the listeners remain buoyant and happily pay up as Gillian and Claire are almost swept overboard by the horrors of The Chicken Song, and Greta serenely pilots the ship, along with 24 new crew members, to a safe harbour.

Claire and Gillian are giving away a copy of Dirty Computer, third mega hit album for Janelle Monae. The task for the lucky listener is to come up with the best signature pizza topping. There is no agreement among the team – Claire is a traditionalist; Andrew sees a pizza base as a blank canvas for creativity and Gillian likes avocado on hers. Claire gets a bit tetchy about the idea of Peking Duck pizzas and the pizza wars begin.

This week Gillian and Claire are giving away a copy of Samantha Jade’s homage to the disco era: ‘Best of My love’, and listeners have to share the disco song they never want to hear again OR their absolute fave. The team get so many responses they can’t tell if the songs are the worst or the best (except for Disco Duck which no-one likes). Gillian breaks into song a few times, Claire never wants to hear Tainted Love again (it’s not even disco), while Andrew does a death defying workout to Popcorn’s Techno Trance (remix).
