Grassroots LGBTI migrant organisation faces closure in 24 hours and getting surrogate kids out of Cambodia

Dean Arcuri and Ian Muchmore get stuck into some heavy topics on tonight’s show.

Ian looks at an unexpected change in Cambodian law which will make it even harder for Australian parents – especially gay dads – to get their surrogate children out of the country. He finds out about the extreme measures gay men are going to to get their children to Australia.

In Hong Kong Marrz Balaoro set up the country’s first and longest-running LGBTI migrant organization, Filguys Association of Hong Kong. He’s been given 24 hours to pay rent at the organization’s headquarters, but he doesn’t have the money. If it closes, that’s it. We find out what Balaoro needs to help keep the critical organization open.

Here’s the fundraising page if you’d like to help.

Finally, JOY CEO Tennille Moisel gives us a recap on Geelong’s 2nd ever pride rally.
