Reason to Revolt, RAJ House and Marriage Equality and the Media : 23rd August 2017

On this episode of The Informer Daniel talks to  two media representatives,  Josh Taylor from Buzzfeed Australia and Matilda Dixon Smith from Junkee.com about the media’s role in representing balanced debates as Australia’s ongoing marriage equality conversations continue. They also discuss  the responsibly of media outlets to fairly represent both sides

Joel Allan speaks to us about Adelaide’s recently established Queer Cultural Centre, RAJ HOUSE.

And we step back in time with Graham Willet, a historian from the Australian Lesbian Gay Archives also known as ALGA and Reason in Revolt; a website dedicated to digitizing Australia’s radical print media and Graham joined Daniel to discuss all the different characters from Australia’s radical past and the long history of the fight for marriage equality.
