AFL AFL ALF, Media and the NO Campaign and Voting Overseas : 28th September 2017

On this episode of The Informer, Dean looks at why the’ NO’ Campaign has received more mainstream media attention that then ‘YES’ Campaign.

We have 47 days left of the postal plebiscite and and last week Buzzfeed put out an article that highlighted that in print, online and on TV and radio from September 10 to 17, the “no” campaign was mentioned in the media almost four times as much as the “yes” campaign.

Dean speaks sex educator and author of For Foxes Sake Row Murray who has been following the trends of the media closely when it comes to marriage equality.

How easy it is to cast your vote in the postal survey from overseas? Dean calls the US and speaks to Andy Tomlinson about what it was like and how easy it is for you to do.

The team from Chicks Talking Footy let us know how the AFL measured up this year on the equality front.

And Dean is joined by Kieran and Bec, Tiger and Crow supporters who share what the sport means to them and why they can’t wait for the Grand Final this weekend.

Dean Arcuri is your host for this episode of The Informer
