Vote for Love with Gayby Baby, #MeToo & how do the Vic Health 2015 survey results affect us during the postal survey? : 16th October 2017

We take a look at the results of VicHealth’s research survey from 2015 which was released today and shows significantly lower levels of mental wellbeing amongst the LGBTI community.

While that is not surprising news to many of us, we are going to look at the how and why as well as some of the details that this research has gone into. Are we missing something? And what’s the next step to move this forward and improve the mental health of our communities.

The #METOO has women from all around the world sharing if they have been sexually assaulted or harassed on social media by simply saying METOO.

And the kids from the award-winning documentary Gayby Baby are now teenagers – and they’re making a film of their own. Talking to the next generation of gaybies about love and family, and what it feels like to have the whole of Australia talking about you during the same-sex marriage postal survey. Encouraging us to not just ‘think of the children’, but listen to them.
