Activists and advocates reflect on the long journey towards marriage equality in Australia

This panel discussion on the history of marriage equality in Australia was convened by Australian Lesbian and Gay Archives and hosted at the Loop Bar on Monday 16 October.

The Informer was there to record a panel discussion with several key players in marriage grassroots activism and policy advocacy from the early days to the present day.

The panellists reflected on their personal stories of becoming involved, the setting up of organisations to lead the fight for change, the challenges, the successes, where we are today and how much further we still have to go.
