Rodney Croome and a Survey for LGBTI Tasmanians

Government & Organisations, Health, Media, Media, Mental Health, News & Politics, Sexuality, Society & Culture, the informer, World News

Rodney Croome is a long time advocate for LGBTI rights in Australia. As the spokeperson for the Tasmania Gay and Lesbian Rights Group, Rodney says he’s seen a big change in human rights in Tasmania over the past few decades, however in terms of rights for trans people, in Tasmania and across the country, we have a way to go.

Ahead of the Tasmanian State Election on March 3rd of this year, The Tasmanian Gay and Lesbian Rights Group have released a survey so they as advocates can better represent the various communities of Tasmania, when election time comes around.

I spoke to Rodney about the purpose of the survey and what they hope to achieve with it ahead of the State election on March 3rd.
