Sydney Convicts win Bingham Cup for the 5th time, Bingham Cup becames more inclusive with a Women’s League, How’s a Ruby Tour actually work? & Aussie Rugby Pride with the Brisbane Hustlers & Melbourne Chargers : 11th June 2018

On this episode of The Informer, Dean Arcuri & Silas Palmer are reporting from Amsterdam, as the Sydney Convicts have once again won the Bingham Cup, the worldwide gay & inclusive rugby tournament, taking the trophy for the fifth time in the competition’s nine tour history on the weekend, beating the Gotham Knights 22 to 8.

The 3-day tournament saw gay and inclusive rugby teams take to the field from all around the world, not only to compete in an inclusive tournament for the Bingham Silverware, but also to be a part of something greater than any individual.

We take you through Bingham 2018 from Amsterdam, which saw the tournament be even more inclusive than ever before thanks to a women’s league. We saw such strong playing on the field, in the type of games that help to change what it means to be a part of a rugby team, plus we hear from the Sydney Convicts Rugby Club as they celebrate their win.

This episode of The Informer aired on JOY 94.9 & was hosted by Dean Arcuri.
