LGBTIQ+ Health Australia proudly presents The Latest in LGBTIQ+ Health and Policy, a podcast bringing the latest in LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing policy to the forefront.

People who are LGBTIQ+ are frequently unable to access safe, timely palliative care that meets their needs, and there is considerable research evidence both nationally and internationally backing that claim.

In Episode 5 of The Latest, our host Triana speaks to Dr Kimberly Acquaviva a professor at the University of Virginia School of Nursing who has become known as an innovator and authority on LGBTQ aging and end of life issues.

The panel this episode is Shane Sturgiss, CEO of BlaQ Aboriginal Corporation, Colleen Johnstone, the CEO of Palliative Care Tasmania, Hannah Morgan who is the National Palliative Care Coordinator at LGBTIQ+ Health Australia, and Craig Cooper from the Australian Digital Health Agency.
