Interview: Sarah Saint James – ‘mad at god’

A few weeks ago, out-and-proud Australian pop artist Sarah Saint James wrote a song about what it was like for her growing up as a queer, plus-size woman in the church. She had no idea how strongly the song would resonate with people until she uploaded an unfinished snippet to her TikTok account.

Sarah talks about going viral with mad at god, her experience in coming out, and shares some exclusive details about her EP, due to be released soon.

As a heads up, this interview gets a bit heavy, and discusses mental health, depression, and suicide.
