This week we speak with Jem Wilson, a former journalist about what life was like growing up in Bendigo as the daughter of a Catholic father who knew little about boundaries. Once Jem graduated from university, she eventually found her way into journalism and discovered her own sexuality along the way. 

 

In the second half of our show, we talk with Micah Scott, CEO of Minus18. Micah is an amazing personality who started helping other LGBTIQ+ youth come out at the ripe age of 16- before he was even out himself. In this discussion Micah shows us what it takes to run an organization, but more importantly what it takes to run one’s own life, so as to not let work become the only thing he focuses on in the day.
