The Real Kevin Tuerff & Kevin Jung – Come From Away

Everyone old enough remembers where they were when disaster struck the United States on September 11 2001. Kevin Tuerff and Kevin Jung were in the sky, on their way home from a Paris vacation. With airspace closed and their flight rerouted to Newfoundland, Canada, their following few days became a story of the generosity of the townspeople of their unexpected layover.

The amazing true story is currently playing to sold out audiences around the world in the musical Come From Away, which has found its Australian premiere at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre.  Tom and Mikey spoke to the real-life Kevins behind the show’s two LGBTQ characters.
