It generally refers to the often seen narrative that queer characters in media are denied happy endings, with more than 74% of queer characters in media being killed off for the sake of a narrative. Jennifer explores some of the problematic shows that contain this harmful narrative, explaining their causes and why they are dangerous for important queer representation.
