Poison by Alice Cooper. Vincent Damon Furnier. Released worldwide as a single in 1989 from his 18th studio album Trash. The song was one of his biggest hit singles in the United States, peaking at #7 on the singles chart; #2 in the UK.

Pull up to the Bumper by Grace Jones. 1981 single, the third released from Nightclubbing, her 5th studio album.

Don’t Tell me the Time by Martha Davis. Lead singer of the Motels went out on her own for this track from her solo debut album, Policy, from 1987.

Everyday is Like Sunday by Morrissey. 1988 solo single, his second after The Smiths broke up the previous year. It is also on his solo debut album, Viva Hate, also from 1988.

Mary’s Prayer by Danny Wilson. Their best known track, from 1988.

Can’t Take My Eyes of f Of You by Boys Town Gang. San Francisco based disco and Hi-NRG band- their 8th single, released in 1983. They never put out an album but did survive much longer than the 2 singles planned originally by their founder, DJ Bill Motley.

*Give me just a little more time by Kylie Minogue. 1992 single from Let’s Get to It, her 4th studio album.

*Was There Anything I Could Do? by The Go-Betweens. From their 6th studio album, 16 Lovers Lane, released in 1988.

*Hands out of My Pocket by Cold Chisel. 1994 single from their 1994 compilation album Teenage Love.

*Young Love by Air Supply. From Now and Forever their 7th studio album, released in 1982.

*1000 Miles Away by Hoodoo Gurus. 1991 single from Kinky, their 5th album.

Word up by Cameo.  1986 single that is the best known of their 43 single releases since they started in 1976.

Hallelujah by Happy Mondays. Title track from their 1989 EP, their third. They’d also released 2 LPs by then as well.

I Melt With You by Modern English. Single from the 1982 album After the Snow. The song gained popularity due to its airplay on MTV in early 1983 and its inclusion during the closing credits in the movie Valley Girl. The band re-recorded it in 1990 for their album Pillow Lips and I think this is the newer version.

Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless) by Crystal Waters. Her 1991 debut single release, which was re-released in 1993 as well. One of her 2 best known songs, the other being 100% Pure Love.

Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers. 1989 single from Mother’s Milk, their fourth studio album.

Waterfront by Simple Minds. From Glittering Prize, a compilation album released in1992.

Wouldn’t it be Good by Nik Kershaw. Single from his 1984 debut studio album Human Racing.
