*Wind Beneath my Wings by Colleen Hewitt. Request.

All at Once by Whitney Houston. Released as a single only in Japan and several European countries in 1985/1986. While it did not receive an official single release in the U.S. it did receive significant radio airplay there, especially after she performed it at the 1987 American Music Awards. I can’t find any record of a release here either.

Debaser by The Pixies. Weird thing about this song…it was the first track on their 1989 album, Doolittle, their second. But it was released as a single in 1997 from their second compilation album, Death to the Pixies. This is the 1989 album version…if they differ, which I’m not sure.

Atmosphere by Joy Division. It was released twice, first in1980 as a dual A-side non-album single with She’s Lost Control. And then again in 1988 from their second compilation album, Substance.

I Feel Love by Donna Summer. Request.

Urgent by Foreigner. Request.

It’s a Sin by Pet Shop Boys. 1987 number one hit in the UK. It also appeared on Actually, their second studio album, also from 1987. Neil Tennant is a cousin of a friend of mine – 2 degrees of separation!

You’re My Heart, You’re my Soul by Modern Talking. 1984 debut for this German pop sensation.

Carolyn’s Fingers by Cocteau Twins. Request.

Aussie I’ve never played before – Indies…if you want more Indie music from me Joyn me on Yes We Are, this Friday 7-9 pm.

*Slave to the Moon by The God Botherers. Track from their 1989 EP “Jesus Christ … It’s the Godbotherers”. The Godbotherers were a Sydney band made up of Daniel Morphett on vocals, Greg Hassall, Tony Locke and Rob Shannon.

*Michael Told Me by The Killjoys. They formed in Melbourne, Australia, in the late 1980s around Anna Burley on vocals and Craig Pilkington on guitar and vocals. This was a 1991 single release.

*All the Way by Pray TV. Active from 1987 until their breakup in 1997, they released 4 CD albums, several 7″ vinyl singles and a 12″ vinyl EP. A compilation CD was released in 2010. The band reformed for a one-off reunion show at the Yarra Hotel in Abbotsford on the 31st of January 2015. This was from 1994, a demo that was eventually released on their first album, Shock.

*Satellite City by Autohaze. 1995 release from Magneto, their first album from Summershine records.

*The Melting Hour by Nunbait. Release from their 1990 mini LP Hub from this Sydney-based power punk band…whatever that means.

*Genius by Frenzal Rhomb. First track on their first album, Coughing up a Storm, released in 1995. It was released in 1997 in the US under the name: Once a Jolly Swagman Always a Jolly Swagman. They’re from Sydney and still going strong today.

Freedom by George Michael. Request.

Sorry by Lynn White. Request.

Cheatin’ in the Next Room by Z.Z. Hill. Request.

April Skies by Jesus and Mary Chain. The first single from their 1987 album, Darklands, their second. They are one of many, many Scottish bands I’ve played over the years here on TripleX.

She-Bop by Cyndi Lauper. Third release off the album She’s So Unusual, 1983.

Paid in Full by Eric B. & Rakim. Title track to their 1987 debut album.
