Aussie Indies

*Slave to the Moon by The God Botherers.  Track from their 1989 EP “Jesus Christ … It’s the Godbotherers”. The Godbotherers were a Sydney band made up of Daniel Morphett on vocals, Greg Hassall, Tony Locke and Rob Shannon.

*I lied  by The Killjoys. They formed in Melbourne, Australia, in the late 1980s around Anna Burley on vocals and Craig Pilkington on guitar and vocals. This was a 1994 single.

*The Melting Hour by Nunbait. Release from their 1990 mini LP Hub from this Sydney-based power punk band…whatever that means.

*Genius by Frenzal Rhomb. First track on their first album, Coughing up a Storm, released in 1995. It was released in 1997 in the US under the name: Once a Jolly Swagman Always a Jolly Swagman. They’re from Sydney and still going strong today.

*All the Way by Pray TV.  Active from 1987 until their breakup in 1997, they released 4 CD albums, several 7″ vinyl singles and a 12″ vinyl EP. A compilation CD was released in 2010. The band reformed for a one-off reunion show at the Yarra Hotel in Abbotsford on the 31st of January 2015. This was from 1994, a demo that was eventually released on their first album, Shock.

*She Must be Spanish by Autohaze. 1993 release.
