Coming out is an individual process. It’s now not that uncommon for older, mature adults to come out later in life. For some, not coming out is the right thing to do – perhaps due to bullying, intimidation, fear or perhaps the intrinsic desire for privacy.

The coming out process can be liberating for the mature adult, but it can also be devastating to individuals when they are faced with rejection from the people they love.

Is coming out different for a teengager? How does coming out at school affect your life – your social relationships, your education and your self esteem?

Our guest today is a young girl, who came out at school. Today she will be talking about her personal journey.
