The People’s Priest – Father Bob Maguire

News & Politics, Society & Culture

fatherbob_2_300Today’s guest is, by his own admission, not a Saint.  A man of passion, creativity and humour; he is part Billy Connolly, part prophet and part Mother Theresa. He has a unique combination of traits and in each of these he is a risk taker; an elusive chameleon – a man of brilliant riddles.

At nearly 80yo he truly is a National Living Treasure, and whilst Father Bob Maguire no longer has a parish, his foundation is working harder than ever to be there for and support the most vulnerable.

Author Sue Williams has penned Father Bob’s biography sub-titled, “The Larrikin Priest”father-bob
