Just by doing what he does for a living, international rap singer Macklemore, took Australia’s marriage equality debate to the world – if they hadn’t heard about it already. Just by singing his marriage equality ballad in the pre-show entertainment for the blokey audience of the Rugby League Grand Final, he attracted criticism…and cheers. So we thought we would get an idea of how the world sees our marriage debate.
- How interested is world media in our current marriage equality vote?
- Is our current debate changing the way our international neighbours view Australia and its people?
- What might we expect when marriage equality does eventually comes to Australia?
