Hungary: Eroding LGBTIQ Rights

Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe. As a member of the EU, Hungary is a modern country and a democratic republic. Fidesz has been in power in Hungary since 2010 and is a national conservative party.

Since 2010, when Fidesz came into power, LGBTIQ rights have been eroded. On Transgender day of visibility, the Prime Minister proposed a bill eroding Trans rights even further. In this World Wide Wave podcast we are joined by Lucie Dudits, Háttér Society Communication Officer.
