Queer City PodcastThe largely conservative west African country of Nigeria is not a great place to be LGBT. Same-sex sexual activities are punishable by up to 14 years in prison. Timi decided that the stories of the queer community in Nigeria were remaining untold. He wanted a safe space where queer people could share their stories, their concerns and their hopes. So he created the Queer City Podcast as a way to connect local LGBT people and raise their profile in the broader community that queer people exist. And he has even bigger plans for the future of Nigeria’s rainbow community.
