Homosexuality has actually had a high profile in this country – largely due to the use of sodomy laws in the political arena.  Despite attracting international condemnation, the practice persists.  We’re off to Malaysia.

• What affect does the political misuse of the colonial-era sodomy laws have on everyday LGBT Malaysians?
• How do you start a public conversation to remove these anti-gay laws?
• Is there a change going on that might move LGBT acceptance forward?

To enlighten us on the current mood in Malaysia, we were joined by Dr Joseph Goh, Lecturer in Gender Studies at Monash University in Malaysia.
