Last Program!

It’s with some sadness that I write this. Sunday will be our last program for a while. Yes, we are ‘being rested’ but, hopefully we will come back next year, refreshed and raring to go. For Mossy and me it’s been a great journey. We knew nothing about radio presenting when we started. But we felt Joy needed to have a program like ours and play the music we played. From Leni’s excellent ‘Taste Of Radio’ course and Hugh’s expert mentoring we managed to get on air. There are a host of other people we want to thank from Joy staff (Conrad, Jason, David, Chris) and to Andrew who operated as a ‘quiet safety net’ for us. to other presenters, newsreaders and our fellow Sunday afternoon presenters – Andy, Simon and Tim. And of course, Corey and Lance for a great job on reception. From all of you we have only ever received support and encouragement. And to our technical staff who managed to get us out of sticky situations. Thank you all!

Not least we want to thank our listeners. We feel we tapped into a demographic not reached before. Your feedback and encouragement were wonderful to boost our confidence. We are so happy we were able to entertain you. Finally, our thanks to Joy 94.9 itself for giving us the opportunity to present on such a great and worthwhile radio station. Thank you Joy!
