This program is an eclectic mix of songs for and about Christmas. Starting with an Aussie novelty song (Six White Boomers) and concluding with an underplayed Aussie Christmas carol (Christmas Day).  In between we have John Lennon‘s plea for world peace (Happy Xmas/War is Over), a funky version of ‘Joy To The World’ by Earth Wind And Fire and a bluesy ‘Christmas Tears’ from Freddie King. As well there is an anti Christmas song ‘Merry Xmas You Suckers’ and a beautiful Canadian carol (The Huron Carol).
