On February 18, the 25th Melbourne Queer Film Festival was officially launched. Assisted by Melbourne’s Lord Mayor Robert Doyle, Festival Director Lisa Daniel opened this year’s program in her signature style. Synonymous for her dry humour and sharp wit, Lisa’s 16th and final launch speech did not disappoint.
With over 180 films in the program for 2015, there truly is something for everyone. Be sure to get along to see some of the amazing queer produced films documentaries on offer.
