Volunteer Vacancies
JOY Breakfast Presenter (applications close 1 July 2024)
From July 2024, the role of presenter on JOY Breakfast will return to being a voluntary position.
In this role, you’ll be taking the helm of JOY Breakfast for one weekday morning per week. You’ll be looking after the planning, preparation, production, and on-air execution of the show, meeting the JOY Breakfast program brief, posting to socials, all while proudly representing our diverse LGBTQIA+ communities.
You’ll need strong teamwork skills and broadcast experience, as well as an understanding of the LGBTQIA+ communities & issues and being passionate about building a more inclusive Australia.
We’re encouraging diverse participants: the diversity of our community is our strength. Along with representing our LGBTQIA+ communities, we encourage anyone to apply, including those living in regional, remote, or even interstate areas.
