Tim Molloy illustrator and artist. His comic books include It Shines And Shakes And Laughs, Mr Unpronounceable Adventures and Mr Unpronounceable and The Sect of the Bleeding Eye….and another Kiwi cartoonist: Sam Orchard – drawing comics since he was a little girl. Sam Orchard Anything that loves Anthology

As Sam says for him he uses “comics as a way to disarm that fear”, that he has of not being accepted and the fear that people may be uncomfortable with queer people. For him it’s all about getting ideas to “help those words feel ok “ by using cartoons.

Mr Unpronounceable and The Sect of the Bleeding Eye

Above: Tim Molloy’s latest Mr Unpronounceable book .

So it was an engaging morning with these hard working talented people and a great chance to get up close…the only thing is the quality of the audio may not be the best at times but in any case ENJOY!
