LGBT organisation: LGBT IHEID
- Located in Geneva, Switzerland (led by Italian ex-pat)
- LGBT@IHEID is an student initiative, created in September 2011, that exists to create a safe, welcoming, and intellectually engaging space for all LGBT students and their allies at the Graduate Institute.
- LGBT@IHEID is in a close connection to Think Out, the organisation of LGBT* students and their friends of the Universities and Haute Écoles of Geneva,
- Established in November 2006 in order to welcome anyone studying in Geneva who is interested in anything related to sexual diversity.

I was hurt more than anything by the fact that he said twice that LGBT people can’t exist.
Translating from Italian, he said “They can do what they want as long as they don’t bother others.”
We cannot even pass in the Parliament a decent bill against homophobia. We still allow associations to critisise LGBT people.
It is changing now…there is much more talk than there used to be.
People have been mobbed at work, it is something real.
