On the eve of the 6th anniversary of the apology to the Stolen Generations, the Absolutely Everybody team speak to Richard Weston, CEO of the Healing Foundation about what has been happening for Aboriginal people since the apology and the plans for the future.
The team are also thrilled to have in the studio, Mark McMillan. Mark is a Wiradjuri man from Trangie, NSW. He joined the faculty of Melbourne Law School as a Senior Lecturer in 2011 – being the first Indigenous Australian to be appointed to the faculty. Mark discussed the Racial Discrimination Act in light of an article published by the Herald and Weekly Times by Andrew Bolt. Mark is on the board of the Trangie Local Land Council and annecto – the people network and is out and proud!
