Homosexual men in Australia are not worthy of marriage according to the bi-partisan approach to this issue by the Government and opposition coalition (and some minor parties). Yet married they frequently are, in all but title. Mac & Geoff have been together for 60 years, and it is with the greatest reverence that Allegro non Troppo asks them their stories. Andrew and Donnie eloped to Canada to get married.

This is a good starting point to look at the issue of Gay Marriage. Married, registered relationship, or civil union – the love that two people share regardless of gender or sexuality, is the foundation of family.
