There are extremes and fringe cultures in all communities, and the Gay and Lesbian Community is no different. There are many alternative and fringe dwellers in this community, from drag to leather.
It’s a difficult issue to address, because it’s highly sexual orientated, and to some the imagery can be dark, and quite confronting.
Leather, sadomasochism, bondage and even more severe aspects make this culture an expression of extremes.
Beware this discussion is not for the feint hearted.
