The process of coming out is unique to homosexuals and Lesbians. There is really no other part of society that has to deal with this issue with the magnitude of self acceptance and disclosure that homosexual’s face. There are a lot of excellent support mechanisms available for people who are gay or lesbian. Support and counselling is abundant, information is easily available. This is not the case for families though, there are organisations like Pflag that connects the community in after shock, but often their support is only sought well after the event. What is it really like for the families of people who come out as gay? Today we are going to find out in particular what it is like for the Wives and children.
