Welcome to my Touch Of Pink blog page. The new tracks are coming thick and fast this year, so hopefully lots to entice you into listening to the show.

My Single Of The Week is “I can make you feel good ” by 5^th Story. This is a new band put together from five 90’s boy singers for the UK Big Reunion 2014 reality show. The band includes the now openly gay Kavana, and the song is a remake of his 1997 hit.

What Have I Seen ThIs Week ?

Show : Admission One Shilling : Featuring Patricia Routledge with a narrated story about Dame Myra Hess, a pianist and socialite who organised a series of musical concerts in the London National Gallery for 6 ½ years during World War 2. The narrative was interspersed with classical piano pieces from these concerts. Very entertaining, but not enough of Patricia Routledge.

Film: Transcendence : Not a bad film, but I felt as if I’d heard it all before. Computer scientist is dying and has his brain uploaded on to the internet and tries to take over the world. The visuals and effects were well done, but no great surprises.
