My Single Of The Week is “Call It Off” from Shamir. He is a gorgeous new young American singer, with a debut album called Ratchet. Call It Off is the 2^nd single from his album, and the two videos released from it are very entertaining. Not sure if he is GLBTI but he certainly has that androgenous sensibility. Watch the videos below and keep an eye on his career. I predict big things.

What have I seen at the theatre/multiplex lately?

FILM : San Andreas : One doesn’t really go to films like this for the plot, because it is pretty slight and very corny, but the effects for the earthquake and the destruction of Los Angeles and California are spectacular and well worth the price of admission. Just as entertaining is picking out the familiar faces … Kylie Minogue … yes really!, Kalinda (from the Good Wife), the young policeman (from The Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries) etc.
