Welcome to A Touch Of Pink, your home site for a look at the fun side of modern pop. I’ll be filling in for the Fender Bender team from 4-5pm Saturdays for the Summer Grid.

My last opportunity to play some Christmas songs, so just a few including my favourites from Slink and Joe McElderry (see above), plus a Little Mix Christmas revamp and a classic from Patti Page recorded in 1955 and now remixed by Matt Pop.

My Song Of The Week is “Summer” by Aufgang. Although the name is German they are a French post pop duo with a track about summer coming, and the video is a little odd. But sometimes you just want a nice light choon and here it is.
