We’ve got a very electro-poppy hour of music this arvo, including newies from Paris Wells, Shawn Mendes, Jonas Blue, Karine Hannah and Milk and Sugar. I’m also featuring two great covers from two wonderful drag artists: Sheena Rose from San Fransisco and Dean Misdale from Perth. So, lot’s of good listening.

My Song Of The Week is “Nostalgia” Vanessa White. She’s from the UK, a member of The Saturdays, and also the first band member to launch a solo career with this track from her EP called Chapter One. A nice mellow r&b track, and a beautiful voice.

What have we seen around town this week ?

FILM : Truth : Finally got round to seeing this movie about American news anchor Dan Rather, and the demise of his career through a news story about George Bush’s military career. The news team is headed by Cate Blachett. And another great performance by Cate. Is there no end to her talents? I really enjoyed the movie, and you don’t have to know much about American politics but it probably helps.
