Lots more gay artists (see Matt Fishel in picture above and duo Shelter as featured image) again this week, seems like all the gays are getting very creative this year. Plus a few oddities, including not one, but two Belinda Carlisle covers, and a crazy reggae cover of Adele’s Hello.

My Song Of The Week is “Run” from Tiggs Da Author ft. Lady Leshurr. He is a reggae singer from London, the song is super catchy, the video is simple but colourful and the guest lady singer is cute. Why isn’t this the hit of summer ? See video below.

What have we seen around town this week ?

FILM : Brooklyn : A lovely film about a young Irish girl who migrates to Brooklyn (America) in the 50’s. She gets a job in department store, and manages to get over the homesickness, and carve out a new life, and boyfriend, when she is called back to Ireland by her mother. There she reunites with old friends and exchanges a kiss with another young man. What will she do? Not telling, but this is the perfect take-your-mother film. I Loved it.

FILM : Deadpool : At last a good superhero movie, but played for laughs, by Ryan Reynolds. It’s funny, bitchy, gory, exciting, full of car chases and crashes, battles and lots of film/TV/music references.
