Welcome back to A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / gay / remix flavour. Favourites this week, ‘cos I’m catching up on 4 months music, include a new Tony Moran and Jason Walker collaboration, a new Will Young Summer Covers EP, Parralox’s Holiday ’16 covers CD, plus a 2016 remix of Samantha Fox (see picture above – still looking good). Next week I’ll be playing a track from Bright Light Bright Light’s new Cinematography EP.

My Song Of The Week is actually an album. I’m playing 4 tracks from a new French album sung by assorted megastars on songs inspired by the musical Saturday Night Fever. The last 4 tracks from tonight’s show are from this album, and I’ll be playing other tracks over forthcoming shows from Alex Newell, Zak Abel, Icona Pop and Tal. What have we seen around town this week ?

Movie : The Light Between Oceans : Finally got round to seeing this weepie starring the gorgeous Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander, plus a distinguished aussie cast, about a lighthouse living couple who bring up a baby washed up in a small boat on their beach. Later they find out that the mother is still alive, and the story goes from there. Beautifully filmed and a true tragedy. 5 Handkerchiefs.
